7-25-2010 WeirdestRobkast This week's movie review is of the new Angelina Jolie flick, "Salt". The campaign slogan for this film is advertised as so "Who Is Salt" and the answer is: One bad ass chick. In a summer filled with lame repetitive type films Salt gives you exactly what you need, which is a release from the norm. Salt is about action, action, and more action. With about 30 minutes of actual dialogue and 60 minutes of guns, stunts, stabbings, and explosions, this movie is aimed at your adrenaline based mind. With a plot that isn't as strong as it could be, who cares when Jolie is on film taking apart whole divisions of the C.I.A. and Secret Service. The film delivers on all levels and its short, sweet, and fun.
Avengers Cast Announced
7-25-2010 WeirdestRobkast At comic con this past week the cast of the "Avengers" film took the stage. Samuel l. Jackson surprised fans gathered for a Marvel Studios presentation
when he stepped out and started introducing the
cast of "The Avengers." Jackson brought out stars Clark Gregg, Scarlett Johannson, Chris Hemsworth of "Thor" and Chris Evans of "Captain America." He then introduced Robert Downey Jr., who brought out the rest of the all-star cast, including Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner aka Hulk. The Avengers is based on the comic book series of the same name,
which brings various Marvel super heroes together. The film is due in
2012.
End of the Nexus
[Dot]Fuzz 07-24-2010 It's official Google has announced that they have received there final order of HTC
Nexus ones,due to their lacking in ability to sell the phone. Because
the phone was only available online they didn't sell that many units, in
fact in the time that Google's iPhone killer was out apple sold 10
times more phones then Google did.
Google did say that the phone will be available for some European lines. But no one knows How long that will last.

Daft Punk Helmet

Hand made and man made. It took 17 months but the
finished product looks quite amazing. Although I'm not sure on the
functionality of the Daft Punk Helmet it looks great. Reminds me of a
helmet out of Star Wars. Volpin replicated the head gear down to the flashing lights. See the video below to see the dragged out process.

There is a new capsule collection from Onitsuka Tiger for the
Spring/Summer 2011 called "Aisen." A lot of denim and even a fanny pack.
I am not a fan of the fanny pack but as far as they go this one was

Where Are They Now?
7-20-2010 WeirdestRobkast Where are they now? Lifestyleunrated has decided to take a look back at 3 child hood actors/actresses at their time of fame and what they are up to now.
First up we have Michael Oliver, you may remember Oliver from the franchise Problem Child, well since starring in the movie series we've wondered what has he been up to since 1992, and this is what we found out: Oliver would later land guest-starring roles in TV shows, including Amen, Platypus Man, and Drexell's Class. He also appeared in the movie Dillinger
and Capone (1995). Oliver has been involved as a Crew Member for The Samples and Nural music
groups in recent years.
Next up is Tina Majorino, she started her career as a child actor starring in films such as Andre, Corrina Corrina, and Waterworld.
Despite her early success, Majorino left show business in 1999. She returned several years later in what would become one of her best
known roles, the character Deb in the 2004 film Napoleon Dynamite. Since her return to acting,
Majorino has also starred in television series such as Veronica Mars and Big Love.
Lastly we have Edward Furlong, who could forget "John Connor" in Terminator 2: Judgment Day or Daniel Vineyard in American History X. Furlong has managed to stay busy making low budget straight to DVD flicks and also making Heavy Metal music, here in the states as well as over seas.
These child actors have fallen far from the grace that they once achieved but seems like they continue to push on.
