01-07-2009 J.Biz To open up somewhat of a preview to C.E.S. instead of making a bigger television JVC has opted to create a thinner and lighter TV. The new prototype JVC waif like TV is a 32 incher and only 7mm thick. It comes in at an astonishing 5kg in weight, making it one of the lightest TV's on the planet.
But even though its weight and width are high quality, it doesn't let up when it comes to picture quality. With 1080p resolution and LED backlighting it can currently keep up with the Jones. It also uses less mercury than many current televisions as well, making it very environmentally friendly. It is sure to spawn many likenesses in the electronics industry.
