7-25-2010 WeirdestRobkast At comic con this past week the cast of the "Avengers" film took the stage. Samuel l. Jackson surprised fans gathered for a Marvel Studios presentation
when he stepped out and started introducing the
cast of "The Avengers." Jackson brought out stars Clark Gregg, Scarlett Johannson, Chris Hemsworth of "Thor" and Chris Evans of "Captain America."
He then introduced Robert Downey Jr., who brought out the rest of the
all-star cast, including Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and Mark Ruffalo as
Bruce Banner aka Hulk. The Avengers is based on the comic book series of the same name,
which brings various Marvel super heroes together. The film is due in
2012.

the street is that mega artist Alicia Keys and her hip hop producer
fiance Swizz Beatz are slated to tie the knot this weekend. The news of
these two getting together caused some controversy because at the time
of the alleged hook up Beatz was still married to singer Mashonda
Tifrere. Fast forward a year and a half and its been an ugly divorce for
Beatz, rough for Keys because she has been dubbed a home wrecker, and
tough for Mashonda because now she is a single mom parading around as if
she is not hurt by all of this. Either way Beatz and Keys are also
expecting a child together later this year and that may be why they are
tying the knot so soon.

Ludacris Will be in Fifth Fast and Furious Movie

Furious has begun in Puerto Rico. Ludacris tweeted yesterday; ?Just landed in Puerto Rico.
Shooting for Fast & Furious 5 is about to be underway?Hey,
it's not my fault we r shooting part of the movie in Puerto Rico.?
The
film will include appearances by rapper/actor Ludacris, singer/actor
Tyrese Gibson, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and Duane "The Rock" Johnson.
Fast and Furious 5 is scheduled for a June 10, 2011 release.

baller Carmelo Anthony and his MTv Vj girlfriend Lala Vasquez finally
decided to get hitched. The ceremony took place at Cipriani's in
Manhattan, NY, and was star studded. This is supposed to have been the
time of their lives but the theatrics were assumed by the Likes of two
rival basketball players Lebron James and Chris Paul. With James in
attendance and the New York crowd booing his entrance to the ceremony,
things seemed somewhat awkward, yet fitting. You boo the guy who turned
down the chance to play in New York for the beaches of Miami. Then when
Carmelo thought that should be all with the deferred attention fellow
NBA baller Chris Paul decides while making a toast to the newly married
couple, mentions his plans to try to unite another BIG THREE,
this time including himself and Carmelo possibly coming to play in New
York with Amar'e Stoudemire in 2012. With James and Paul at this
wedding, some might have forgotten that the night belonged to Carmelo
and Lala.

Dave Chappelle Turbulance In Flight

extremely familiar with the incident tells TMZ Chappelle boarded a
private jet in New Jersey last night bound for Ohio -- where the actor
lives.
During the flight, we're told Dave "freaked out" and
refused to put his seat belt on. Then -- according to sources -- Dave
repeatedly walked into the cockpit, asking how much longer the flight
would be, and started grabbing the pilot's arms.
Sources say the pilot determined Chappelle was a safety risk and
diverted the plane to Pittsburgh.
We're told Chappelle then
checked into a nearby hotel for the night. Sources at the hotel tell us
Dave has been telling hotel employees he wanted to rent a car to drive
back to Ohio ... only he couldn't remember where he lived.
Chappelle was spotted wandering out of the hotel early this morning.
A rep for Chappelle explains the incident to TMZ by saying Dave
really needed to use the restroom -- he ate something that didn't sit
well -- and the bathroom on the plane was "not the kind he needed."

Garfield , 26, has been
cast as the new Peter Parker for the next installment in the "
Spider-Man " movie franchise, Columbia Pictures announced on Thursday.
Andrew has appeared in a few films, including "The Imaginarium of
Doctor Parnassus," the project Heath Ledger was working on at the time
of his death in 2008 and 2007's "Lions for
Lambs" with Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep, and Robert Redford. The young
actor is also a part of the cast of the
upcoming Facebook movie, "The Social Network," due for release later
this year.
Andrew will make his official screen debut as the legendary superhero
on
July 3, 2012, when the film hits theaters in 3-D.
Woods' Ex-Wife to Receive $750 Million in Divorce

Nordegren the wife of Tiger woods will be receiving about $750 million
as part of a divorce settlement. Of coarse she must keep her lips sealed
about pretty much everything, but I think that's well worth the hassle.
Let's
be real here though. That is a bujuku amount of money. Just a few years
ago she was just a nanny, while Tiger was working hard, winning
tournaments and landing endorsements. I am in no way condoning Woods'
infidelity, but he already lost many endorsements, missed over a year at
work, and must deal with public embarrassment on a daily basis. Clearly
all not enough for her to be reasonable about the money she will get.
Although until we know specifics, this will all be speculation.

weekend. And according to numerous sources they all said NO when they
learned that Chris Brown would be
performing.(Their loss).It was a matter of principal, if
BET was willing to support Chris Brown after what he did that is their
business. But Rihanna, Jay-Z, and Beyonce were not going to have
anything to
do with the show.
Who cares, if they wanted to protest then that's on them, but they
missed out on one of the best Michael Jackson tributes to date. Breezy
killed it and showed tons of emotion in the process.

Red Sox slugger David Ortiz for over $5 million claiming he enjoyed

designation of sponsorship" referring to their "Forty Forty" club in
the Dominican Republic. They are also being charged with
"cypbersquatting" for their website www.fortyforty.net. Included in the
suit are photos of David at Jay-Z's 40\40 Club in New York in 2008.
Update: 06/22/10 David Ortiz and Jay-Z have agreed
that Ortiz will no longer call his club "Forty Forty" and will take down

about the third Transformers
film that should make fans happy. First came a decision that should
surprise absolutely nobody: The third film is being shot in 3D (even

surprising announcement, Bay confirmed that fan-favorite Shockwave will
be a featured villain. As a Transformer, Shockwave -- who could
transform into a powerful
laser gun -- was left in charge of the Transformer home planet Cybertron

battled against each other on Earth. Shockwave made an admirable and

the United Kingdom, postponing his tour. Brown had been scheduled to
perform in London, Manchester, Birmingham
and the Scottish city of Glasgow but the British government's Home
Office said he had been refused a visa because of his past criminal
record. Last year Brown was sentenced to five years' probation and six
months
of community service for the beating of his then-girlfriend, R&B
singing sensation Rihanna. The Home Office said Brown applied for his
visa last week and should
have been notified of its refusal Monday. Promoter SJM concerts said
Tuesday that Brown's tour had been
postponed "due to unforeseen circumstances."

returning in Batman 3
or any other bat-films as long as he's attached to the franchise. "'No,'

Nolan's Dark Knight incarnation of the Joker was played by Heath

5-25-2010 WeirdestRobkast Last night's series finale of the greatest
television show ever, ended with a bang!!!! 24 ended it's eight year TV
run with what might be called the greatest episode in the series
existence. After the studio announced earlier this year that the show
would be shutting down, talks about a film were swirling through
Hollywood. So how do you end the perfect TV show, not by killing the
greatest TV actor of all time. Many speculated that Jack Bauer would be
killed in the series finale, go out guns blazing or in a blaze of glory.
well it didn't happen that way. Others speculated he'd be arrested and
thrown in jail for his crimes, that didn't happen. The show ended
expressing an emotion that is rarely seen from any of the characters on
this show, and that's sadness mixed with regret, for our main characters
Bauer, O'Brian, and President Taylor. All and all even though this
wasn't the best season of 24, the finale was one of the best episodes of
the series, and it left the door opened for the movie.
I would
like to thank Keifer Sutherland, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Carlos Bernard,
Elisha Cuthbert, and Dennis Haysbert, and the entire cast of
actor/actresses over the last 8 seasons, the show will greatly be
missed.

movies, has been dropped from the third. Paramount Pictures said
Wednesday that Fox's option was not picked up
for part three in the blockbuster Michael Bay
series. The studio, which released the first two movies about
shape-shifting machines doing battle, declined to give further details
or say who would replace the 24-year-old actress.
It looks like
her acting career is over, but her stripping career will get kick

Men in Black 3 is officially a
go, and Columbia Pictures will set a May 25, 2012, release date for a
sequel that director Barry Sonnenfeld will shoot in 3D. Will Smith has
signed his deal to reunite with director Barry Sonnenfeld, and deals are
now being negotiated with Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin.
The film will use a time travel element that moves the action from
contemporary back to 1969. Brolin will play the younger version of
Jones's Agent Kay character. Sony had every reason to be stoked about
more MIB, the franchise based on the comic book by Lowell
Cunningham. The 1997 original grossed $589 million worldwide, and the
2002 sequel did $442 million in global ticket sales. Those films rank
high on Columbia's all-time gross chart, and the prospect of making an
installment that captures the otherworldly creatures in 3D is enticing.
Since Independence Day, Smith has
considered July 4 weekend to be his preferred domain for commercial
vehicles, but that slot was already occupied by Spider-Man.
Then again, Smith has always been shrewd about choosing projects, and he
has positioned himself to keep intact his title as world's biggest box
office star.

America and Thor will both be involved in a secret scene after
the credits of Iron Man 2. Judging from what we saw in the

sounds like a pretty legit rumor. I think there's a pretty good chance
we'll see Chris Evans as Captain America and Chris Hemsworth as

was a technical error by SunTrust Bank, which quickly fixed

who owns a jewelry concessionaire for Florida theme parks. "Maybe a
handful of us could have brought down SunTrust Bank." Mr.
Fischer had other ideas as well. Before the problem was fixed, he asked a

until it was reclaimed and donate the interest to charity. Total

3-28-2010 WeirdestRobkast Earlier this month it was announced that
this season of "24" would likely
be the last for the series due to the low ratings and Fox seems
disinterested in continuing production. At the time it was mentioned
that the studio is considering shopping the series to other networks,
but everyone believed that interest would probably be limited due to the
high costs involved. Series director/producer Jon Cassar
announced a day ago on his Twitter account that the show has been
officially canceled.
It was great while it lasted, I sure hope
the film doesn't get affected by this decision. Jack Bauer is

Evans was offered the role in Marvel Studios' production
last week, but there was some question of whether he would accept.
Factoring in to the choice was the fact that Evans played Johnny Storm,
the flame-covered superhero known as the Human Torch in Fox's "Fantastic
Four" movies. Was he ready to play another superhero and take on the
trappings that come with such a high-profile part Evans took a
few days to think it over, and once he decided he was willing to wield
the shield, negotiations moved quickly over the weekend.

who played bad guy Agent Smith in the "Matrix" franchise, is in talks
to join the "Captain America" movie as the villainous Red Skull. It will be directed by Joe
Johnston, who recently worked with Weaving in "The Wolfman." In the Marvel comics, Red Skull has been Captain America's archenemy
since 1941, when he engaged in espionage and sabotage as Hitler's
right-hand man. In his final battle with the superhero, he was buried
under the rubble of a bombed building but -- as would occur later with
Captain America -- fell into a state of suspended animation. Both were
revived in modern times. Weaving is also known to genre fans as elf ruler Elrond of the "Lord of
the Rings" trilogy.

Harvey will take over next fall and is signed on for four seasons. His past TV credits are "The Steve Harvey Show," and "Me and the Boys." He also has a nationally syndicated radio show.
I'm not really sure if this will work but I can't say O'Hurley or Al from "Home Improvement" weren't very memorable either. At least day time show host have secure jobs, the night show hosts are in quite a mess.

So it seems like these days its hard to get recognition on the internet. So what did this guy do ? He crashed his 1.6 million dollar car into a lake, and to top it all off he told his insurance that he was moving out of the way of a low flying pelican...... Okay well for starters the Bugatti Varon is the fastest production, street legal car. The car is only 4 inches off the ground in its regular driving mode, and drops down to 3 when in touring mode. Well I'm sure
he won't be walking into jail for a while. So I'm sure he'll be able to
release both "The Carter 4" and "The Rebirth". As for his future it's
likely when he gets out (if he even stays the whole time) he will a
have a complete new album and continue to make good music.

The Dirty Dancing star Patrick Swayze has died after a two year struggle with pancreatic cancer tonight at the age of 57.
Swayze starred in popular films such as Ghost and The Outsiders
and was seen as an effective a heartthrob. And who can forget him
playing a Chip'N Dale's dancer with Chris Farley on Saturday Night Live.
His condition was made public in March 2008. His publicist Annett Wolf
stated; "Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his
side
after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months."
Swayze once said last January, "I keep dreaming of a future,a future
with a long and healthy life, not lived in the shadow of cancer but in
the light."
Hopefully that day will come for millions of Cancer victims in our life time.

Governor Arnold to come back to action movies and

him away from his desk).
Now MTV
is confirming the rumor that Bruce Willis will be rounding out the cast
of the movie, about a group of mercenaries that set out to take down a
foreign dictator.
It sounds as though the roles for Sly, Arnold, and Bruno will be small,
perhaps only a short fan-service cameo where everyone in the theatre
will get to cheer for 30 seconds. That's more than enough for me
though. Sly knows what his fans want. Violence. Distinct lines between

McFarlane Starts Writing New Spawn Movie
09-03-2009 Weirdest Robkast "Spawn" creator Todd McFarlane has announced that
he has officially begun writing the screenplay for a new movie based on
the character.
"The story has been in my head for 7 or 8 years," McFarlane said. "The
movie idea is neither a recap or continuation. It is a standalone story
that will be R-rated. Creepy and scary."
He added that "the tone of this 'Spawn' movie will be for a more older audience. Like the film 'Departed.'"
In August of 1997, New Line released a Spawn movie that grossed $87.8 million worldwide. It starred Michael Jai White, John Leguizamo and Martin Sheen.
Rolling Stones Documentary 'Cocksucker Blues' Leaks

The movie was filmed during The Rolling Stones 1972 U.S. tour by photographer Robert Frank. The doc was banned due to acts by the band including drug usage, and other rock star antics.
Stones guitarist Keith Richards once stated “if anyone in America saw it, we’d never be let in the country again.”

Scott Back To Work On "Aliens" Prequel
08-03-2009 Weirdest Robkast Twentieth Century Fox is resuscitating its "Alien" franchise. The
studio has hired Jon Spaihts to write a prequel that has Ridley Scott
attached to return as director.
Spaihts got the job after pitching the studio and Scott Free, which will produce the film.
The
film is set up to be a prequel to the groundbreaking 1979 film that
Scott directed. It will precede that film, in which the crew of a
commercial towing ship returning to Earth is awakened and sent to
respond to a distress signal from a nearby planetoid. The crew
discovers too late that the signal generated by an empty ship was meant
to warn them.
The deal gives Fox another chance to keep the
"Alien" franchise alive. There were three sequels to Scott's original,
but it is the first time the director has set his mind on directing one.
Eminem is a Bit Overboard

latest song ' The Warning'. After a couple of disrespectful lines
targeted at the butterfly herself she came back with a song called
'Obsession'. In the music video she dresses as Em and follows herself

dedicates an entire song to the issue.
Some of the lines are very harsh but do we expect anything less from

Chris Brown and Rihanna's Secret Reunion

According to the New York Post singers Rihanna and Chris Brown spent
this past weekend together despite a restraining order. Just one week
after Brown's public apology via Youtube it is reported they stayed at
Trump International Hotel & Tower.
They spent the next two days coming and going in separate chauffeured
vehicles from the underground garage of the 52-story Columbus Circle
building. The two appear to have taken great measures to avoid public
exposure, including the use of decoy vehicles to throw off reporters
and photographers. As of last night, the secretive performers hadn’t
been seen together.
Seems this union is doomed to return.
"Yo Quiero Taco Bell" Dog Dies
07-22-2009 Weirdest Robkast Gidget, the famed Chihuahua who appeared in Taco Bell ads, died Tuesday
at the age of 15. Karen McElhatton, Gidget's owner, tells Lifestyleunrated.com
the dog was with her trainer, Sue Chipperton, watching television when
she began making "strange noises" and suffered a stroke. Before the
dog's death, "She had a good day and was running around as normal,"
McElhatton tells Lifestyleunrated.com. "We're happy that she was very well off right until the end."
Gidget: whose "Yo Quiero Taco Bell" spots debuted in September 1997: also had a cameo in Legally Blonde 2
opposite Reese Witherspoon, in addition to appearing in other TV spots.
We enjoyed working with Gidget, and she will be missed by many," a Taco
Bell spokesperson tells Lifestyleunrated in a statement. "Our deepest
sympathies go out to her owners and fans."
The dog had an
exceptionally happy life, her owner says. "She lived like a queen," McElhatton tells Lifestyleunrated.
"She had a great life. We're very sad. She's a wonderful little dog."

McElhatton: "She was old. Of course, we were hoping she'd be

Blockbuster NBA Trade For King James Squad
The Cleveland Cavaliers have reached an agreement in principle to acquire Phoenix Suns center Shaquiile O'Neal, multiple sources involved in the talks told Yahoo! Sports on Wednesday night. Cleveland will send Ben Wallace,Sasha Pavlovic, the 46th pick in Thursday's draft and cash to
the Suns for O'Neal. Cleveland and Phoenix were both juggling multiple trade
possibilities with other teams, with the Cavs involved with as many as
six trade scenarios.
Yet the disappointing Eastern Conference finals loss to the Orlando
Magic left Cavs GM Danny Ferry with incredible pressure to accumulate
talent around James in the final season prior to his 2010 free agency.
James has blessed the O'Neal trade, especially because it should give
his over matched front-line the ability to compete with Dwight Howard in the
playoffs. Ferry and Phoenix GM Steve Kerr are close friends and had
talked off and on about a Shaq deal since the February trade deadline.
O'Neal, 37, makes $21
million next season, and the Suns were determined to move him in a
package that would save them money. Wallace made $14 million and could

Chris Brown Pleads Guilty to Felony Assault
06-22-2009 J.Biz During a plea bargain Chris Brown has pleaded guilty to felony assault of Rihanna. The deal with prosecutors will require him to perform six months of community service and five years of probation. No jail time will be served and the we will not get to see Rihanna take the stand to testify against Brown.
Chris was also ordered to stay at least 50 feet away from Rihanna and at least 10 feet away from her at shows by L.A. Supreme Court Judge Patricia Schneg. She has allowed him to serve his duties in his home state of Virginia instead of L.A. Rihanna entered the courtroom after Brown heard his verdict and left to hear the terms of the order of protection and express her acceptance of the deal.

R.I.P. David Carradine
06-04-2009 J.Biz At the age of 72 David Carradine was found hung in a hotel room by a maid at the Swissotel Nai Lert Park in what appears to be suicide. The American embassy in Bangkok Thailand has confirmed his death.
Carradine was best known for the lead role in the seventies television show Kung Fu and the latter continuation Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. We must forget his brilliant role in Bound for Glory and as Bill in the Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Vol.'s I and II.

Natasha Richardson's Last Good Will

This week's entertainment news section is about, Natasha Richardson's(The Parent Trap)
legacy, which will be living on in more ways than one. The late
actress' family has reportedly requested that her organs be donated. An
unnamed family friend told People magazine
that the decision to go ahead with organ donation, was made shortly
after the 45-year-old was taken off life support. The friend stated
that this "is very Natasha."
"She spent so much time fighting the stigma of AIDS; someone like
that would naturally donate her organs," the source told the magazine.
"At least by donating her organs something good could come out of the
tragedy." Richardson died March 18, 2009, two days after falling during
a ski lesson in Montreal. She was laid to rest on Sunday near the
upstate New York home shared by the actress and husband Liam Neeson(Taken), Neeson, who was in production on the film Chloe at the time of his wife's accident is expected to return to the Toronto set shortly.

Bad News for Chris Brown
03-05-2009 J.Biz According to Fox 11 in L.A. they allegedly have the notes of the detectives handling the Chris Brown-Rihanna case. The details are as follows:
According to the notes, Rihanna
read a three-page text message on Brown's phone from a woman. An
argument ensued and Brown allegedly tried forcing Rihanna out of the
car but couldn't because she was wearing her seat belt. Brown then
allegedly shoved Rihanna's head against the passenger window. When
Rihanna turned to face him, Brown punched her, then continued punching
her while driving, according to the detective's notes. Blood spattered
all over Rihanna's clothing and in the interior of the car. Her mouth
was filled with blood.
Brown allegedly told Rihanna, "I'm
going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see." Rihanna called her assistant and left a message saying, "I am on my way
home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there." Brown then
replied, "You just did the stupidest thing ever. I'm going to kill
you." According to the report, Brown continued to punch Rihanna, bit
her on her ear, her fingers and put her in a headlock ? she almost lost
consciousness.
Crazy right? I don't think anyonethought Brown was capable of such a feat. If this is at all true, then hopefully he can change his ways with much counsel.
Chris Brown has been charged with Assault and Making a Criminal Threat by the L.A. County District Attorney, both felonies. He will be arraigned at 3:30 p.m. pacific time in L.A. today.
*Update* 03/05/09
Chris Brown's legal representation asked the judge to postpone the arraignment and that was granted, postponed until April 5. The judge explained to Brown. "You are not to annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone." Rihanna's attorney Donald Etra explained that Rihanna does not wish to have an order of protection from Brown.

Darren Aronofsky's "The Wrestler" won best picture Saturday at the 2009 Film Independent's Spirit Awards. The film also won best cinematography for Maryse Alberti and best actor for Mickey Rourke.
The award for best director went to Tom McCarthy for "The Visitor."
Woody Allen took home the prize for best screenplay for "Vicky Cristina
Barcelona."
Also among the winners were Charlie Kaufman's "Synecdoche, New
York," which was named best first feature, and Dustin Lance Black, who
won the award for best first screenplay for "Milk."
The best supporting female award went to Penelope Cruz for "Vicky
Cristina Barcelona," while James Franco picked up the prize for "Milk."
Meanwhile, Melissa Leo won best actress for "Frozen River."
Other winners included Laurent Cantet's "The Class" (best foreign film) and James Marsh's "Man on Wire" (best documentary).
Alex Holdridge's "In Search of a Midnight Kiss" took home the John
Cassvetes Award for the best feature made for less than $500,000.
