09-14-2009 Weirdest Robkast
Hello everyone, this week's movie preview is the soon to be released action comedy Black Dynamite, and it is assured to blow you away.
Black Dynamite is a comedic ode to 70's Blaxploitation films, starring Michael Jai White(Spawn) as the title character: a gun-toting, nunchuck-wielding, ladies man and soul brother.
"The Man" killed his brother, pumped heroin into local orphanages, and
flooded the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor. When a hero was needed
to help clean the streets up no one would step up, then came Black
Dynamite. Dynamite takes the fight to "The Man", from the ghetto
streets to Hallowed Honky House. With appearances from Arsenio
Hall(Coming To America), Tommy Davidson(Bamboozled), Salli
Richardson-Whitfield(Posse), and much more this film is sure to deliver
hysterical moments and gut busting laughs.
White served double duty as he was also the creator of the story, and the film is directed by Scott Sanders.
[Dot]Fuzz 08-27-2009 Megan Fox is going to be Cat woman?
It's reported that Megan Fox will be the playing Cat Woman in the next Batman movie.
The films is allegedly going to begin filming in 2010 and should be
released by 2011. Megan Fox is going to be showing her "Darker" side in
her new movie "Jessica's Body" . So I'm sure if she does a good job in that movie it shouldn't be hard for her to convert to Cat Woman.
It's also rumored that Eddie Murphy will be playing The Riddler. Which
was previously played by Jim Cerrey. Now I know Eddie Murphy hasn't
done a movie since The 2008 comedy "Imagine That". Which BOMBED in the
Box office making a mere $5.7M it's first week.
As for Megan Fox, she may make a ton of money in the box office, but is that worth the integrity of the Batman Trilogy.
08-10-2009 Weirdest Robkast We at LifestyleUnrated took the time to put together a list of some of our personal
favorite on-screen bad guys from this decade, TV and Film from 2000- present. This is by no
means a definitive list, and it isn't in order.
Hey people this is Weirdest Robkast back again to deliver another movie review for your enjoyment. This week I'll be reviewing Pride And Glory, starring Edward Norton(25th Hour) and Colin Farrell(In Bruges).
A family of police officers - patriarch, two sons, and a son-in-law -
deals with corruption in a precinct in Washington Heights. Four
officers die in an ambush at a drug dealer's apartment. It's brother
Francis' played by Noah Emmerich(The Truman Show) precinct, so when the investigation led by brother Ray(Norton) finds
hints of police corruption, there's pressure to close ranks and save
Frankie's career. Dad played by Jon Voight(Transformers), a police brass, promises Ray that he and Frankie
can clean things up, and Ray should focus on catching the drug dealer
who killed the cops. Meanwhile, brother-in-law Jimmy(Farrell), a hothead and an
enforcer, is visited at home by a lowlife. Is Jimmy involved in the
corruption? Where can this take the family?
This
movie had its highs and lows, but mostly highs. I recommend this film
because its has great action, has a well written story, is
entertaining, and was filmed on location in Washington Heights, NY. If
your a fan of police corruption and brutality, this is the movie for
you. If your a fan of great actors then this is also for you.
This has been another review by Weirdest Robkast and the lifestyleunrated people, until next time, Peace!!!!!
Hello Ladies and Gents it’s Weirdest Robkast and
LifestyleUnrated back to bring you another highly energized movie preview for
your enlightenment. This time around I'm going to be previewing a movie called Taken, which is set to open everywhere
on January 30th, 2009.
This film stars Liam Neeson (Batman Begins) in this action-packed international
thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. When
his estranged daughter is kidnapped in Paris, a former spy (Neeson) sets out to
find her at any cost. Relying on his special skills, he tracks down the
ruthless gang that abducted her and launches a one-man war to bring them to
justice and rescue his daughter.
This high speed action packed film is sure to give you a closer look in to the
underground world of slave/sex traders and the people who fall victim to these
acts. Tourists, be careful while traveling abroad because even though this is a
movie, it is inspired by true events which tend to take place in foreign
countries.
Reasons Why You Should See This Film:
1. Liam Neeson has a long history of delivering great performances in films he
has starred.
2. The plot alone is somewhat original, in the sense that a film like this is
not as common as your typical movie experiences have been, at least not for the
last year and a half or so.
3. Famke Janssen of X-Men glory stars in this film as well. Who didn't like her
as Jean Grae/Phoenix in those movies?
This preview has been brought to you by Lifestyleunrated, we hope you enjoyed
this. Peace!!
12-09-2008 J.Biz Now while doing my usual trek of the world wide net
I came across some stills of Jessica Biel in a stripper's outfit and
said to myself "self this has to be Photoshop but if not I must seek
this still and bring it motion." Not only did I find out that there was
truth to these stills, I found the video. It is a trailer of an
upcoming film called Powder Blue. The movie is about a mortician,
an ex-con, a suicidal ex-priest, and a stripper's worlds colliding on
Christmas Eve. It stars Forest Whitaker, Lisa Kudrow, Ray Liotta,
Patrick Swayze and Jessica Biel as a stripper. Check the trailer as she
splashes liquid on herself, and works the pole and stage. Enjoy!

The Dark Knight
07-16-2008 by Weirdest Robkast "The Dark Knight" is the sixth
Batman movie to be released to date. Its previous movies grossed an
astounding $911 million dollars domestically. This series has proven
that comic book movies can be greatly entertaining, fun, and that they
can also rake in the dough. This movie however has the aura of death
around it because it is the last full body of work for young actor
Heath Ledger; the man who stepped into some of the biggest shoes in
Hollywood, but left his own footprints in the sand. Ledger portrays the
Joker(previously played by the great Jack Nicholson in the original Batman
movie), a psychopathic criminal mastermind, who's main objective is to
bring crime to the city of Gotham, and to kill his enemy Batman. This
performance is one to focus on not only because its Ledger's last, but
because the character of the first joker was so greatly portrayed that
Ledger had to out do himself just to win over fans of the original.
Some say that his dedication to the character was one of the causes of
his untimely death. This
movie also stars Christian Bale as Batman, this is his second movie as Batman and if he can perform anywhere near what he did in his first
performance, this should be a really great movie. Batman is the crime
fighting caped crusader, who takes on Gotham's criminals, in effort to
help out the partly corrupted police force and the other helpless
civilians of the city. This movie is like every guys wet dream and
every girls nightmare. Because its mostly aimed at getting the men to
the theaters to see some asses getting kicked. But like the last Batman
movie I believe this has the potential to draw a nice crowd of women,
simply because the character of the Joker is such a breathtaking sight
that you'll wanna see that performance. So there you have part one of my Dark Knight report, check back later this weekend for part two, my review, once I've seen the movie twice. This is Weirdest Robkast checkin out, Peace!
Tropic Thunder
07-10-2008 Peace world!!! How are we this week? Good I hope. In this segment I'm
gonna be previewing two movies that might be worth checking out this
summer, during those dog days of August.
Opening on August 15, 2008; will be a new comedy brought to us by way of funny man Ben Stiller, and its called Tropic Thunder. Co-starring Robert Downey Jr(Ironman), and Jack Black(Kung-Fu Panda). The
movie is about a crew of actors on the set of a war movie, who get sent
to a real war zone, in order for the film's director to capture the
realness of war. Unknowingly the actors don't know that they are
actually sent to a real war zone and it takes a while for them to
figure it out as they try to survive and make it back home.
Reasons why you should see this movie: 1.
Downey Jr.'s character a white man, undergoes a surgical procedure to
have his skin darkened so that he can play the role of a black man
fighting in this war movie. 2. Jack Black is one funny mother you know what!!! 3. This is Ben Stiller's second directorial, and this guy knows a thing or two about funny movies. 4.
All three of the guys I've just mentioned have more than enough star
power and blockbuster movies under their belts, that even if you don't
go see it, once the DVD comes out your gonna be like- I should have saw
this in the theater. Because if you don't like one of these guys then
the other is guaranteed to make you laugh out loud.
Babylon A.D.
07-10-2008 Movie number two is called Babylon A.D.,
which is coming out on August 29, 2008; This movie is a sci-fi
action-fest starring Vin Diesel(Fast and the Furious) and Michelle
Yeoh(Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon). Vin Diesel is a mercenary for
hire, who is paid to escort a human-machine hybrid and her genetically
engineered bun in the oven, from Russia to Canada. This movie is set in
a post apocalyptic near future, and it is a cross between The Fifth Element and Children Of Men.
Reasons why you should see this movie: 1. Vin Diesel making a comeback to roles he should be doing. 2. Action packed. 3. This movie has a scene in it where a human-machine hybrid(Female) destroys a missile launched at her, using only her mind. 4. For
all you pride fighting, mixed martial arts loving, and wrestling fans
out there, this movie consists of an action sequence where Diesel has
to fight inside of a circular steel cage.
In closing I hope you enjoyed this movie preview. I hope
you get a chance to see and enjoy these flicks. Till next time, I'm the
Weirdest Robkast, Peace!

3D. This movie stars Jensen Ackles(Supernatural) as Tom, a man who returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the

09-09-2008 by Weirdest Robkast Hello world, this is Weirdest Robkast back with ya for another set of movie reviews. This week I bring reviews for Pineapple Express, What Happens In Vegas, and Redbelt.
I recently went to the AMC movie theater in Times Square which now also
carries the IMAX experience, but I didn't initially go to see Pineapple Express, although I'm very pleased that I did. To put it simply this movie came into a tie with Step Brothers for the funniest movie of the year spot. Secondly, What Happens In Vegas and Redbelt are two movies out for rental right now...>>>click here for more.
Review: The Dark Knight
07-29-2008 by Weirdest Robkast "Good evening ladies and gentlemen, we're tonight's entertainment!!".
Hey whats going on people, its Weirdest Robkast back at ya. That was
one of the many lines delivered by the late Heath Ledger while he
portrayed his final complete masterpiece as The Dark Knight's,
Joker. I predicted in my last column that this movie would be special
and it delivered on all levels. This was by far the best movie of the
last 10 years and definitely the best comic book based film ever. The
numbers and the response from the movie goers all point to success,
$158 million dollars in the opening weekend, and $314 million dollars
of revenue, in only ten days of domestic release. As well as critical
acclaim from the film committee, press, and movie buffs. Since the
film's release a number of movie websites such as Yahoo Movies, IMDB,
and YouTube video, have declared that this movie is one for the ages as
it now ranks as the #1 rated movie of all time. This is no small feat
either, the last movie to be rated as the #1 movie of all time was The Godfather Part 2, so that let's you know that this movie is unprecedented.
The
movie deals with heroes and villains, crime and punishment, you have a
city in peril and a masked vigilante who comes to the cities rescue.
But the one thing that no one expected was that the city could get
worst. Escalation. With the
arrival of the Batman(Christian Bale), Gotham City has a savior,
someone who will take care of the criminals and psycho's, and put them
where they belong. There is also another character introduced by the
name of Harvey Dent(Aaron Eckhart), Gotham City's new district
attorney, he is the new legal
face in the fight against crime in Gotham. He plays an intricate role
in this movie, and his performance deserves a movie of his own. Then
comes along a different kind of criminal, one who is as smart as he is
sadistic. As brave as he is crazy. As brilliant as he is insane. He
challenges the system and the batman, and is a formidable foe at that.
With brilliant planning and manipulative ways, the Joker(Heath Ledger)
takes on the Batman, Harvey Dent, and the police force of Gotham City.
There was not one part of this guy's plan that didn't find a way to
work itself out or fold like origami, to mold the perfect solution for
turning Gotham into a living hell mouth. With tons of great
performances by Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby), Gary Oldman (The
Professional), Michael Caine (The Prestige), and Maggie
Gyllenhaal (Sherrybaby), this movie packs the kind of star power and
punch that will make you go see it again and again.
Reasons why you should see this movie:
1. The Joker. 2. The Joker. 3. Great storyline with an un-comic book like ending. 4. Great acting on all levels. Every character did fantastic. 5. On pace to be the highest grossing movie ever.(Thats right higher than Titanic). 6. Already rated the #1 movie of all time on IMDB. 7. Already voted by the fans as the best comic book movie ever made. 8. And did I mention the Joker's performance was astounding.
I
hope this movie review and movie information has swayed you to see this
film in the theaters, not once but at least three times. Lol. I've seen
it twice and I'm gonna go see it at Imax. Anyway I hope you enjoyed
this article, this is Weirdest Robkast, and i'm out this mutha!!!!
Peace!!!!
Hellboy II: The Golden Army
By Dot[Fuzz] So I watched the original "HellBoy" prior to visiting the movies for the second installment so I could get the full length experience of "Hellboy 2: The Golden Army". Well little did I know that I was better off renting the first Incredible Hulk film than watching the sequel to "Hellboy". The fighting scenes were all very good but the story line was like taking a jigsaw puzzle and mashing all the pieces to it together were they don't belong. The whole point of the movie was to prevent Prince Nuada from getting the three pieces of the the crown so that he doesn't assemble the Golden army, but he gets the last piece from one of the main "good guys". A good guy who happens to fall in love with a girl within the 2 days that he knows her... hmmm... i wonder. Overall i wouldn't go watch the movie if I had known this but go check for yourself if you don't believe me. 4/10
You Don't Mess With The Zohan
06-16-2008 Okay, well lets start this off by saying if you're into
comedic releif due to real life problems and a larger than life
subliminal message throughout the whole movie, then this is the flick
for you friend. As you know the movie " You Dont Mess With The Zohan "
starring Adam Sandler, was a good and funny movie. Although there was
an over obsession with Zohans "Package", its seems like that thing got
bigger and bigger as the movie passed by. Its full of alot of knee
slappers and points were I felt like I couldn't stop laughing. It also
has a sub-romantic story line. Overall the movie was a great "Hey lets
go to the movies" movie but if your expecting an academy award winning
comedy then go rent "The Wedding Crashers". [Dot]Fuzz 7/10
City Of Success
06-03-2008 by J.Biz Yes I'm a guy. Yes I love the typical explosion
filled, profanity spewing guy movie. But I did see the Sex and the City
movie, and I enjoyed it. I was originally a fan of the show so it
wasn't all that hard for me to motivate myself to see it. What's to
hate about rich milfs having...err fun in N.Y.C.
When I got to
the theatre it was packed with women. I thought I was sitting in the
studio audience of the Oprah Winfrey Show, minus the free cars of
coarse. The movie was pretty much like watching a two and a half hour
chunk of the show. That served the film well as all the women had their
similar share of problems as they possessed throughout the show. Carrie
had her continued tribulations with Mr. Big and Samantha was having
trouble not being her usual outgoing self as she was dealing with
monogamy with Smith.
Without giving anything away if you were
a fan of the show you will like it. Good plot, decent climaxes and all
your favorite characters are back. If you are not a fan it is just
going to be an average film for you. It's hard to relate to rich urban
women unless you are one. But the characters of Sex and the City still
have everyday woman problems.
Review: Step Brothers
08-04-2008 Hello people this is Weirdest Robkast back at cha for this weeks movie
review. On tap I have scheduled to report my review on the funniest
movie so far this year, Step Brothers. I also will be talking about some DVD releases that might be worth checking out.
After I elected to go see Step Brothers as opposed to seeing The Dark Knight for a third time, I'm relieved that my decision didn't haunt me, because Step brothers
starring Will Ferrell(Anchorman) and John C. Reilly(Walk Hard) happened
to be the funniest comedy I've seen all year long. This movie is about
two 40 year old guys, who after both their single parents get married,
have to learn and adjust to life...>>>Click here for more.
1. Friday After Next:
This is the third installment of the famed Friday series, and it once
again stars Ice Cube as Craig and Mike Epps as Day Day. This time
around these cousins move in together back in the hood and on the eve
of Christmas get robbed by a ghetto Santa Claus. This sparks off
another eventful Friday in the lives of Craig and Day Day. This movie
is funny as hell and was the introductory film for Katt Williams(First
Sunday). Also stars Terry Crews(White Chicks), K.D. Aubert(Soul Plane),
and Clifton Powell(Menace to Society).
07-16-2008 by Weirdest Robkast This weeks movie rental suggestions are Definitely, Maybe and Brick. Definitely, Maybe
stars Ryan Reynolds(Van Wilder), as the father of a divorcee daughter
played by Abigail Breslin(Little Miss Sunshine), who is asked one day
by his daughter to tell her the story of how he met her mother, and to
also find out where they might have went wrong in their marriage so
that maybe Reynolds could get his life back on track. Entertaining,
sweet, heart warming, and funny. Definitely one cool romance movie.
Brick
is a film noir, which stars Joseph Gorden-Levitt(3rd Rock From The
Sun), as a high school kid who sets out to discover why his one time
ex- girlfriend has been murdered. But with so many people trying to
cover up the death and silence Levitt, he embarks on a suicide mission
to desperately gather clues and information about whats going on. This
movie uses great language to depict mood, has a great ensemble of young
talented actors, and has a unique story. No boring parts as you go
along with Levitt to uncover the mystery behind his ex- girlfriends
death. Also starring Meagan Good(Stomp The Yard).
07-13-2008 Peace!!! Hey its Weirdest Robkast back again to deliver some movie reviews for the people. This week i've been busy catching up on some rentals that I think people might enjoy if not haven't seen them already.
1. Knocked Up: A movie about a stoner and a career woman, who hook-up one fateful night at a club. They meet, they dance, they drink, and they bone. And as the movie's title suggests they get pregnant. A hilarious comedy starring some of the guys from The 40 Year Old Virgin.
2. Rush Hour 3: If you've seen the first two then you know what its about. Personally I think this one is better than the second, only because of the continued comradery after 6 years between movies. Both Tucker and Chan are electric together.
3. Blue Streak: This movie stars Martin Lawrence as a jewel thief who is forced to stash a diamond in a building which is under construction. Years later after he is released from prison he goes back to retrieve his diamond and finds out that the building is a precinct. So now he must devise a plan in which he is able to infiltrate the building and do what is necessary to get the treasure back. This movie also stars Dave Chappelle.
I hope you've enjoyed these movie reviews, and if you haven't seen these flicks or just haven't seen them in a while, I hope this review convinces you to give them another chance to laugh out loud. This is Weirdest Robkast and I'm out, till next time, Peace and Hair Grease!!!!!
