For starters Michael Jordan will be the cover athlete for a basketball
game not named "Michael Jordan: Chaos in the Windy City." Leaves a taste
in my mouth just as awful as "Shaq Fu" and "Barkley Shut Up And Jam."
Ugh. Anyhow 2K Games will feature Michael Jordan on the cover of NBA
2K11.
Jordan's business manager Estee Portnoy said, "Michael was very flattered
to be approached by 2K Games and has watched
the growth of innovation in video games." He also said, "His fans,
mostly in the 18 to 34 year old group, always asked him why
he wasn't in a video game."
Jason Argent, vice president of marketing at 2K Games chimed in saying
"We think we are making the best (basketball) video game so we wanted
the greatest basketball player ever," and "Our goal and mandate is to
continue to push the look and feel of
basketball."
Jordan definitely seems happy with the arrangements and humbly said "I
have no doubt that 'NBA 2K11' will be a big hit with gamers and
basketball fans alike," also "I'm looking forward to getting back out
onto the court virtually.
Let's hope they get my dunk from the foul line right."
It's unsure for now weather or not he will be a playable character in
the game but it will be interesting to see how he plays if he is.
Remember there were three different versions of him in "NBA Street 3."
"NBA 2K11" releases October 5th for game consoles and PCs.

Playstation 3 Slim
08-18-2009 J.Biz Sony is has slashed prices on its PS3 consoles.
The 80GB model will be reduced to $300 and the 160GB to $400 starting
August 18th. This will be done to make room for the new Playstation 3
Slim.
The Slim will retail for $300 and boast a 120GB hard
drive, be 32% smaller and 36% lighter. The slim will be on sale
worldwide the first week of September. The new PS3 logo will change
from PLAYSTATION 3 to PlayStation 3 in order to sound a bit more tame.
As long as your Slim is connected to a Sony BRAVIA television via HDMI
it will have a BRAVIA Sync which will allow you to use the TV
remote with the PS3 and turn the system off when the television is
powered off. Space saving has now limited USB ports to two.

Wii Flex
04-08-2009 [Dot]Fuzz My dreams have come true.Okay not really but
I have to admit just when I thought it would be ridiculous for anyone
to come out with another work out game/tool, Nintendo introduces the
Wii Flex. I guess because of the success of the "Wii Fitt", they had no
choice but to make an addition to their work out plan. So as you know I
was a bit skeptical when I first saw this but I must admit the 2 pound
dumbbells are a great idea. There are going to be 2 different kinds of
dumbbells released, the 2pounders and 4pounders. Both will have full
button control. I don't know about you guys but i sure hope they make
an attachment on the Wii Fitt for these dumbbells. 7/10

FIFA 09 Sells Over A Milli In Europe
10-11-2008 J.Biz According to EA Sports, FIFA 09 has sold over 1.2 million units in a week in Europe, making it the quickest selling FIFA game of all time. Peter Moore, President of EA SPORTS™ stated, “FIFA 09’s great kick off is a testament to our loyal fans across Europe who simply can’t wait to get their hands on the game.” New game modes include 10 vs.10 Online Team Play, FIFA Online Clubs, Season, and adidas Live Season service. The U.S.A. and Asia will be able to get a copy of FIFA 09 on October 14th. It will be available on all gaming consoles and portables.
Microsoft Now Has the Cheapest Console
09-08-2008 by J.Biz According to yahoo.com the Microsoft Xbox 360 will now be cheaper than the Nintendo Wii. The Wii had been the cheapest of the three top video game consoles at $249, but now the Xbox 360 Arcade edition as of 9/5/08 is only $199. The absence of a hard drive is what sets the Arcade apart from the other Xbox's and is also responsible for the lower price. The Arcade comes with a 256MB memory card to counter this fault.
Microsoft is making a run at the market of Nintendo buyers. Gamestop has faith in this approach too. They believe this move will boost the system's sales 1.5 to 3 times in the short run. But even though the cheapest Playstation 3 at $399 has Blueray, and that in itself is a bargain.
PS3 Firmware 2.41

who downloaded the Firmware 2.40 for the Playstation 3, Sony has
released the 2.41 update which should patch up any wholes created by
its predecessor. Many users were experiencing problems with XMB not
being displayed. Check out the PS3 website for additional details so
you can get back to "Call of Duty 4" or other online games on the
system.

Already a best seller in Japan, the game comes with a balancing board which is pressure sensitive and helps you do exercises to be relayed on screen. The board is used for activities including yoga, aerobics, stretches and games. The fitness simulator will be $90 although availability is said to be low.

The long awaited game Grand Theft Auto by Rockstar North is almost here. Since 1999 Rockstar North had been blessing us with the Grand Theft Auto games oringinating on the original Playstation platform. Since the first one they have all been great, and from the looks of it Grand Theft Auto IV will be even better. Well if you played the past games you’ll know that all the games are based in different places and different people all the way from “San Andreas” to “Liberty City”. Well this one is going to be about a man named Niko that grew up in Europe. There isn’t that much information about the game released yet but because of the major increase in graphics and gameplay this game is going to be a definite 10/10. But only time will tell so on April 28 we’ll all know how good the new Grand Theft Auto really is. It will be available on Playstation 3 and X Box 360. [Dot]Fuzz

Grand Turismo 5 Prologue Okay Grand Turismo fans the time is almost here. On April 15, 2008 the game that people have been waiting for, for about two years is so close. Even though Sony been holding us over with demos and free previews its time for the real thing on the Playstation 3 console.
This Grand Turismo will now have more then 50 cars and will allow up to 16 players to race agaist each other online. Not only that but you will also be able to create a page online so that people will really know who's the best racer worldwide on the net. As usual the game will have a range of manufactures from Lotus all the way to Ford. And if the gameplay isn't good enuff for you, the game will be able to be played in 1080p LCD visuals.
