06-09-2009 Weirdest Robkast Hello world wide web' ers we are back with another movie review, this week's film is the new buddy flick comedy The Hangover, starring Bradley Cooper(Wedding Crashers), Ed Helms(The Office), Justin Bartha(National Treasure), and Zach Galifianakis(G-Force).
From director Todd Phillips the guy who brought you Old School and Road Trip
comes a comedy about a bachelor party in Las Vegas gone wrong. Two days
before
his wedding, Doug played by Bartha and his three buddies drive to Vegas
for a wild night they'll never forget. But when the three groomsmen
wake up the
next morning with pounding headaches, bodily injuries, and memory loss
like you wouldn't believe, their Caesars Palace Hotel suite is beyond
trashed and the groom is nowhere to be
found. With no clue of what happened and no time to waste, the trio
must retrace their steps from the night before in
order to figure out where things went wrong and get Doug back
to L.A. in time for his wedding.
The
film had tons of laughs and a crazy sub plot, these guys were
completely hilarious and they brought their "A" games with this flick.
The standout performance came from relatively new actor Zach
Galifianakis, who's performance as Alan Garner the crazy, misguided,
loner/ weirdo brother in-law to be, showed us that all you have to do
to make it in Hollywood is 'act a fool'. He certainly played the part
and succeeded beyond expectations. I recommend this film for the guys
especially, because before this film, I told myself, my family, and
friends that I'd never goto Vego to but after the escapades of this
film, I now would love nothing more than to visit the city. Not to
mention all the action and comedy, along with great cameo appearances
by Mike Tyson, Heather Graham, and Ken Jeong.
