Trey Brings Back The "Tempo Slow" Flow
Trey Songs- Ready
09-12-2009 Weirdest Robkast
OK, ladies and gentlemen, today we will be talking about the newly released Trey Songz album called "Ready". As true a R&B album that has come out this year, this album has an old school R. Kelly feel to it. With tons of ballads and a few club friendly tracks Trey makes you wanna grab a lady and twirl or do some other things(hehehe).

With such tracks like "Neighbors Know My Name", "One Love", "Scratchin Me Up", "You Belong To Me", which sounds like vintage Robert Kelly circa 98', "Holla If You Need Me", and my personal favorite "Yo Side of The Bed", which happens to sound like a Prince sampled inspired track, they deliver a sense of sexiness that make you think about your woman or that other woman. They are also blended well enough that the ladies can flip it and react the same way.

Not shy of its club friendly and uptempo tracks Trey calls on guest appearances to help him out, with such songs like "Say Aah", which features Fabolous, and "LOL :)", which features Gucci Mane & Soulja Boy Tellem. The singles off the album are "Successful", featuring Drake, and "I Need A Girl".

I hope you go out and support this Trey Songz album, because its an ode to vintage R&B from a decade ago. Music today is missing this type of relevance and substance.
